My
love for cooking arose from the necessity to feed family and often friends
as well, and from getting to know so many delicious dishes in the countries
I travelled and lived in. So, with time passing, my skills improved and
I came to more and more enjoy the preparation of food as a creative art. |

At
eighteen, a boyfriend asked me for a boiled egg. When he broke it open,
he got the still liquid content all over his trousers. I was dumbfounded.
He'd asked me for a three minutes egg, and that was exactly what I had
done: I had put the raw egg in a pan with cold water, checked the clock
and turned on the heat. After three minutes I retrieved the egg from the
pan. That's how much I knew about cooking back then! |

Well,
I've come quite a long way since. |
