Vegetable stew with lamb
|

Saute
1 big chopped onion and 4 cloves of garlic, add 500 g of lamb cut in
pieces,
fry a few minutes than add 1 tb sp. of minced ginger, 1 or more tsp. of
chili powder, 1 tsp. of paprika, 1/2tsp. of turmeric and cinnamon each
and a dash
of ground cloves. |

Add
equal amounts of green beans, potatoes and carrots cut into not too small
pieces, chickpeas* and salt |
|
|
|
|
|
Bring
to boil and simmer on small heat for about 45 minutes. |

*
If you use dried chickpeas, soak them beforehand. You have
to precook them, depending on their age, before adding them together
with the vegetables. If you use canned chickpeas, rinse well and only add
10 minutes before stew is done. |
